TWO of Amy Winehouse’s pals are crowdfunding to cover costs of their legal battle with the late singer’s dad.

Naomi Perry and Catriona Gourlay are accused of keeping profits from a £3.3million sale of the star’s clothes and trinkets.

Amy’s dad, Mitch, 73, wants to recover £730,000 he says should go to the foundation set up after her death at 27 in 2011.

But Naomi and Catriona have claimed that scores of items they sold at auction were either their own property or were given to them by Amy.

The two friends said in a statement: “Regrettably, fighting Mitch over the last few years has depleted our financial reserves, with nearly £100,000 already spent on legal expenses.

“The projected costs would rise to an additional £250,000 if this case proceeds to court – a sum far beyond our means.”

They have set up a CrowdJustice page, which says: “This is not a fair fight. To clear our names, we need your help.”

Last night the page had raised more than £2,000 of its £15,000 target.

The Amy Winehouse Estate said previously: “The estate has questioned how these items came into their possession and has not had satisfactory answers.

“The estate has launched a legal process to clarify the situation.”
